AB Growth dynamics and dynamics of parameters of the primary (the content of DNA, RNA, and protein) and secondary metabolism (triacylglycerides - TG and (β-carotene) in cells of copper-sensitive (CuS) and copper resistant (CuR) strains of Dunaliella viridis Teod. were investigated on the day 10, 20, 30, and 40 of accumulative cultivation in 2006 and 2007. It was established that growth dynamics of CuS- and CuR-cultures under standard conditions varied substantially. In the process of accumulative cultivation the specific variability of parameters of the primary and secondary metabolism led to the formation of specific time profiles in the content of DNA, RNA, protein, TG, and (β-carotene in microalgal cells of CuS- and CuR-cultures. It is supposed that variability of time profiles of integral parameters of the primary and secondary metabolism of microalgae is determined by the character of fluctuations of the solar electromagnetic radiation and characterizes differences in epigenotypes of various strains of algae from the genus Dunaliella Teod.
