SINOPSIS
The paper presents a high accuracy scheme for Finite Volume Method (FVM) with Immersed Boundary Method (IBM) with application to complex turbulent flows. Two testing cases are computed, namely flow passing threedimensional hill and building arrays. The standard Smagroinsky model and Lagrangian dynamic model are used in LES for comparison in the case of flow passing building array. The results show that the proposed numerical method is capable of predicting complex flow with reasonable cost.
