RÉSUMÉ

A new approach to the solution of the problem on optimizing the rate of transmission of digital signals in a heterogeneous multi-protocol fiber-optical transmission system by controlling the characteristics of active components in a fiber-optical linear path with wavelength-division multiplexing and linear fiber-optical amplifiers is proposed.
