Effect of Translation Symmetry on Electrodynamic Properties on the Semiconductor-Dielectric Structure Placed in a Magnetic Field

RÉSUMÉ

The zonal spectrum of eigenmodes is analyzed in a periodic structure formed by alternating dielectric and semiconducting layers, for the case of oblique wave propagation with respect to a magnetic field and with allowance for the retardation effect. A technique is suggested for deriving the dispersion relation. Analysis of the dispersion relation shows that two independent eigenmode spectra can exist in the structure in the absence of losses. Field distributions over the structure layers have found for these waves and domains of their existence established. The possibility of transmission band overlap is shown for spectra.
