The Optimized Microwave Plasmatron with Nonequilibrium Plasma

RÉSUMÉ

The conditions of the maximal service power entrancein a microwave plasmatron with a flow of strongly nonequilibrium stationary plasma are investigated at atmospheric pressure of gas (argon). The waveguide-coaxial design of a microwave plasmatron with two movable plungers is used. The efficiency of absorption of microwave power (10 GHz) in a torch of plasmatron is higher than 99% at excitation power up to 12W.
