RÉSUMÉ

A new approach is suggested to solving the spectral problem for a gyrotron with parallel corrugations. The technique is based on reducing the rigorous boundary-value problem for Maxwell's equations to a singular integral equation for its subsequent numerical analysis with the use of quadrature interpolation formulas. The method that has been developed is applicable in any frequency range and for arbitrary sizes of the corrugations.
