The Information Analytical Subsystem for Support of Management Decision Making in the Social Sphere of the Region

Results of the study of opportunities to use neural networks in modeling and prediction of regional demographic processes have been presented. The developed information technology of analysis and prediction of demographic indices has been considered; basic functions and principles of operation of the information analytical system developed by the authors have been described. An example of a neural network model developed on the basis of the proposed information technology has been given. It has been demonstrated that the created neural network models are adequate to the surveyed processes and are resistant to noise. The working efficiency of the proposed information analytical system has been tested by an example of demographic indices of Slovak Republic and Russian Federation.
