Microwave Bandpass Filter Based on YBCO Thin Films

RÉSUMÉ

Microstrip bandpass filter on basis of YBa2Cu3O7-δ thin films for frequency 1.7 GHz with bandwidth near 4%, high pass band edge steepness and low pass band losses was developed and investigated. The housing for HTS filter design features was considered. The encapsulated filter must provide cooling to the liquid nitrogen temperature. The behavior of bilayer structure (a semi-infinite normal metal covered by superconducting YBCO layer) in microwave frequency range was investigated in dependence with superconductive layer thickness.
