RÉSUMÉ

A resolution technique is suggested for signals staying in the uncertainty domain, generally 4-dimensional. If the signals were initially distinguishable (convergent or divergent target trajectories), or else just one of the signals was observed and then gave rise to another one, separating because of target splitting (divergent trajectories), then it proves possible to construct amplitude variation trajectories for the signals and their relative shift. The trajectories can be extrapolated to the domain of uncertainty, enabling solution of the optimum signal resolution problem with completely known parameters. The system can store the information obtained over the preceding observation intervals and changes its operation parameters accordingly, in other words it is an adaptive system.
