RÉSUMÉ

The wave scattering by an arbitrarily shaped small particle located above a perfectly reflecting periodic rough surface is studied with the use of the local perturbation and integral equation methods. The total field propagating in the half-space above the surface has been calculated. The resonance frequencies of scattered fields are found for the case when the particle is spaced far apart from the surface.
