RÉSUMÉ

Principles of IP telephony operation on a corporate network are analyzed; their advantages and options are discussed. A design and a structural layout of the IP telephony system, used in a corporate network based on Softswitch in the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, are given as examples.
