Transmission of Facsimile Messages in Digital Communication Systems with Statistical Multiplexing

RÉSUMÉ

The principles of formation and operation of facsimile compressors in the digital systems with statistical multiplexing and their main characteristics are described in this paper. The trends in development of this class of the present-day communication equipment are considered.
