A QUADRUPOLE STRIP ANTENNA ARRAY FOR THE L-RANGE WIRELESS RADIO COMMUNICATIONS

RÉSUMÉ

The results of theoretical and experimental investigations of a quadrupole broadband antenna array (AA) for wireless information and telecommunication radio networks with the working range of 1.5−1.75 GHz are presented. The array consists of four (2 × 2) E-shaped microstrip radiators excited by a nonsymmetrical strip line in the air substrate. The gain of the developed AA in the working frequency band is 12−13 dB.
