Institute of Hydrobiology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine RÉSUMÉResults of the study of the composition of epiphyton algae communities occurring on higher aquatic plants in the river section of the Kanev Reservoir are given in the paper. The following main structural and functional indices of epiphyton algae communities were investigated: species number, their numbers and biomass, the composition of the leading complexes, relationship between epiphyton and allochthonous algae, and the main ecological and taxonomic groups. The influence of higher aquatic plants and hydrological conditions, in particular of water dynamics, on these indices was investigated. Articles with similar content:
