RÉSUMÉ

Data of long-term microbiological studies of bottom deposits of Upper Volga reservoirs are presented. The features of changes in structural and functional characteristics of bacteriobenthos in certain areas have been revealed. These features depend on physicochemical properties of water, bottom deposits, and the ecological state of water bodies as a whole.
