RÉSUMÉ
Paper presents analysis of the literature data on mechanisms that provide thermoresistance of algae. Issues of biosynthesis and role of the heat shock proteins, structural changes of membrane lipids and activation of the antioxidant system in the resistance of the algal cells to the influence of elevated temperature are discussed.
MOTS CLÉS: algae, thermal stress, heat stress proteins, membrane lipids, fatty acids, antioxidant protection.
