RÉSUMÉ
Seasonal dynamics of the process of sulfate reduction in water bodies differing in their geographic situation, trophic level, pH, Eh, water salinity, sulfate content, temperature regime, and other factors were investigated. It has been found that in various lakes the maximum rate of bacterial reduction of sulfate was registered mainly in summertime.
