RÉSUMÉ

Effect of elevated concentration of the carbon dioxide on the growth rate of some Chlorophyta species at cultivation in different mineral media in the open-type cultivators has been studied. Species Chlorella vulgaris Beijer. (strains HPDP-119, LARG-3 HPDP-120), Desmodesmus communis (Hegew.) Hegew. (strain HPDP-109), D. armatus (Chod.) Hegew. (strain HPDP-110) were shown to have maximal growth rate and ability to utilize CO2.
