RÉSUMÉ
The species composition, quantitative indices of development, and structure of the near-bottom zooplankton of the littoral zone of some reservoirs of the Dnieper river were investigated. It has been found that in terms of the most parameters the near-bottom zooplankton essentially differed from the littoral and pelagic zooplankton, which makes it possible to conclude that the near-bottom zooplankton represents an individual group of zooplankton communities. Not only the number of species, their numbers and biomass, but also the ecological structure of the community, varied from season to season.
