RÉSUMÉ

Genome-wide epigenetics, namely, epigenomics, is one of the current frontiers in cancer genomics. Epigenetic silencing of tumor-suppressor genes plays an important role in the pathogenesis of most cancers. Several technologies are emerging for the genome-wide profiling of DNA methylation to find new tumor-suppressor genes and predictions for clinical phenotypes in individual patients.
