The Use of Fluidized-Bed Technologies for the Reconstruction of Small Coal-Fired Boiler Unitst

RÉSUMÉ

Most of small-capacity coal-fired boiler units in Ukraine call for reconstruction, which cannot be performed without changing the processes of burning. Four variants of reconstruction using various fluidized-bed technologies, which were designed in association with CETC, are considered. Recommendations for the use of the methods of reconstruction for burning coal with various degrees of metamorphism are given. The reconstruction of small boilers allows one to prolong their life and to ensure effective burning of high-ash coal without using gas and residual fuel oil during burning.
