Thermal and Aerodynamic Characteristics of Tlibe Banks with Spiral-Welded Ribbon Fins

RÉSUMÉ

Empirical equations for calculation of the heat transfer coefficient and the aerodynamic resistance of staggered and on-line banks of tubes with welded spiral-ribbon fins are given in wide ranges of the Reynolds numbers and the geometric sizes of a surface and tube banks with allowance made for the number of transverse rows of finned tubes in a bank and the turbulence of an incident flow.
