Radiation Heat Transfer of Turbulator Inserts in Gas Heated Channels

RÉSUMÉ

The experimental and numerical study of radiation heat transfer between surface of compound heat transfer enhancement technique and tube wall in gas-heated channels was carried out. Compound techniques, consisting of the internal twisted-tape with twist ratios y = 2.4, 4 and the external tape with e/D = 0.07−0.18, which was spirally wound on the internal tape were considered in laminar and transition flue gas flow regimes. The experimental investigation was performed directly in the convective part of fire-tube boiler, numerical simulation with applying the RNG kε turbulence model. At the end, some conclusions were drawn.
