RÉSUMÉ
The results of measurements of velocity and pressure fields for swirled flows in a vortex chamber, cylindrical tube, and in a free air jet are presented. Description of an experimental setup, swirlers, experimental procedures, and of the construction of measuring hydraulic probes are given. The experiments that were carried out on hydraulic models and the generalized results of observations allow one to reconstruct the whole picture of vortex structures. An analysis of the results obtained reveals certain trends in the formation of the internal structure of swirled flows.
