INTERNAL HEAT GENERATION OF DUSTY FLUID THROUGH POROUS MEDIA OVER STRETCHING SHEET
RÉSUMÉ
This article is a report of an investigation of heat and mass transfer of a viscous, incompressible dusty fluid over an unsteady stretching sheet with an effect of variable viscosity, thermal conductivity, and internal heat generation. Heat transfer characteristics are examined for two different types of boundary conditions: variable wall temperature and variable heat flux. The nonlinear partial differential governing equations are converted into a system of ordinary differential equations by using suitable similarity transformations. The ordinary differential equations are then solved numerically by using the Runge-Kutta fourth order method. The effects of physical parameters such as velocity profile, fluid particle interaction parameter, Prandtl number, Eckert number, Schmidt number, number of dust particle, variable viscosity parameter, internal heat generation/absorption, and permeability are discussed and illustrated graphically. The effects of skin friction coefficient, wall temperature, and temperature function are tabulated and discussed.
