RÉSUMÉ

This paper contains the results of an experimental study and modeling of physicochemical processes of decomposition of a mixture of methane with air in a high-voltage atmospheric pressure discharge plasma. The equilibrium conditions for mixture conversion have been considered, the time of its residence in the reaction zone has been estimated, and the compositions of the conversion products have been given depending on the equivalent ratio φ. On the basis of the conducted research, conclusions have been drawn as to the influence of the thermal conditions of the process on the formation of a carbon nanomaterial.
