RÉSUMÉ

This paper details the results of a study on future scientific efforts involved in thermal-hydraulic development to be conducted over the next ten years.
It includes:

  • the identification of industrial problems for which an improved solution would require a deep knowledge of thermal-hydraulics
  • the state-of-the-art and the roadblocks to be lifted in the various methods involved in thermal-hydraulics (modeling, simulation methods, instrumentation and experimental methods), for single- and two-phase flows,
  • proposals for improving for these methods
