RÉSUMÉ
The elasto-plastic behavior of tall buildings under wind loading were experimentally examined by means of hybrid vibration technology (HVT). The original procedure of HVT is guidelined. The parameters, being the most indicative ones for elasto-plastic behavior are determined. Basic conditions for avoiding the resonances by vortex-induced vibration in the smooth flow are found.
