RÉSUMÉ
Results of algological study of two caves located in Shulgan-Tash Reserve (South Ural) are presented. The Rich taxonomic and species composition of algae (52 species from four divisions) was revealed using cultures. Forty-five species were found in Shulgan-Tash Cave, and 12 in Mis-Tash. It was found that the species diversity is reduced along the cave gradient when the intensity of light decreases. The comparison with literature data on different caves is given. Nutritional types of cavernicolous algae are discussed.
