The use of self-similar solutions over the initial thermal section and precise analytical solutions in sections with a linear temperature profile is substantiated. An example of calculation for a multipass absorber is given. The change in all local heat and mass transfer characteristics is analyzed over the depth of the tube stack. %8 2004-04-04
