This novel model can account for the presence of multiple bubbles, the thermal boundary layer and the generated free charges. The finite element method was successfully used to solve this model. The effect of multiple bubbles and the generated free charges was clarified. The electric field distribution, the electric body force and accordingly the resultant force acting on the bubbles were calculated for a shell and tube evaporator. %8 1998-12-01
