Gas Freon-113 under a pressure of 1 bar was used as a coolant. The model of accelerated separation of vapor conglomerates by liquid streams created as a result of natural convection is realized in the mock-up. The investigation confirmed that this method is promising: the range of the boiling mode expands to the heat transfer boundary with density 10 times higher than the critical value in boiling on a horizontal surface under the conditions of natural convection; high-intensity heat transfer to 9·104 W/(m2·K) takes place over the entire range. These results suggest that the thermosyphon with water as a coolant makes it possible to remove heat fluxes of density more than 15 MW/m2 with intensity over 105 W/(m2·K.). %8 2002-06-01
