Fishes received food with different proportions of ingredients of plant and animal origin. Fishes with different feeding specialization proved to differ in the level and dynamics of metal accumulation and the ratio of microelements in organs and tissues. Significant changes of metal contents in tissues during the growing season (from June to November) are explained by variation in the intensity of metabolic processes, biological demand for microelements performing different physiological functions, provision of fish organism with these microelements, and their metabolic expenditures. %8 1998-10-01
