The approach is based on the use of the method of moments in spectral domain to solve the problem. Main attention is focused on improving the convergence in the course of calculating elements of the mutual impedance matrix through isolation of the asymptotic behavior shown by the Green’s function component in the spectral domain which allows quickening the calculation process. Earlier, the principal terms of such asymptotic representations were obtained heuristically making use of the planar case solution. This paper suggests extended asymptotic representations that have been obtained for the cylindrical geometry. Calculation results for the input impedance of radiators of various geometries are presented. The results are compared with measurements.
