Therefore we investigated the evaporation of particles, the interaction between particles and the influence of particles screening.
The subject of investigation is a plasma torch jet. The power of the plasma jet is 25 kW, the frequency 5.28 MHz, the inner diameter of plasma torch is 54 mm. The plasma gas is air, and the gas flow rate is 80 1/min. Powders for investigation are silica and silicon.
The procedure includes the simultaneous solution of the equation of motion and heating of the particles, together with the plasma equation of energy and masses conservation. This procedure is based on the method of velocity and heating calculation of single solid particle in plasma jet, which gives results close to experimental data.
As a result we have calculated the optimal degree of the plasma jet loading, which give possibility to reach effective process of particles treatment. We have taken into account evaporation and interaction between particles in our calculation. %8 2007-05-01
