AB Dynamics of colonization of various mountain rock plates by the microflora and organisms of micro- and meiozoobenthos were investigated under experimental conditions. The plates were placed at the depth of 14 m in the littoral zone of Lake Baikal. It has been found that the development of micro- and meiozoobenthos under experimental conditions varies from season to season. Its seasonal dynamics are closely similar to those of animals occurring on stones in the littoral zone of Lake Baikal. It has been shown that hydrobionts possess selectivity in colonization of mountain rocks. In terms of fouling abundance, the studied mountain rocks can be arranged in the following order: granite, marble, amphibolite.
