T1 Oxygen Regime in Macrophytes' Vegetation Under Different Water Turnover Intensity (By The Example of the Dnieper Flood Plain Water Bodies) JF Hydrobiological Journal JO HYD YR 2008 FD 2008-11-19 VO 44 IS 6 SP 54 OP 63 AB Peculiarities of the oxygen regime in the vegetation of higher aquatic plants (emergents, submergents, floating) in the lower Dnieper flood plain water bodies with different water turnover intensity: active (less than 5 days), moderate (5−11 days) and low (more than 11 days) have been studied. In all water bodies' groups dissolved oxygen content increased in a range: emergents, floating, submergents. It was stated that distinguished water bodies' groups considerably differ by oxygen content. In this connection oxygen content to a greater extent is determined by the external water turnover of the water body, and to a less extent by coenosis-forming plant's ecological group.
