To provide for an efficient in-resonator excitation of the transverse mode with azimuthal polarization of radiation it is suggested a structure of the non-homogeneous mirror of the dielectric laser resonator in the form of reflecting large-scale axially symmetrical metal diffraction grating. Using the finite-difference time-domain method for the bodies of rotation (BoR FDTD) showed that placing of the above mirror in the resonator allowed decreasing the coefficients of reflection from the mirror of the modes with the non-azimuthal types of polarization. It is experimentally proved efficient excitation of the transverse mode with the azimuthal polarization of the radiation at the output of the optically pumped waveguide HCOOH-laser with the above-mentioned diffraction mirror.
