Numerical investigations of the electrodynamic properties of the Fabry-Perot resonator with coaxial-sector holes and waveguide loads in the mirrors have shown that excitation of the reflective resonator by a plane linearly polarized wave at a frequency below the cutoff one for the coaxial-sector waveguides is accompanied by a strong localization of the electromagnetic field inside the resonator. In the case of the two-mode operation of the coaxial-sector waveguides, a possibility has been detected of obtaining a circular polarization of the electric field in the resonator volume. It has been shown that the magnitude and polarization of the electric field in the resonator can be controlled through changing the mirror separation between the mirror and length of the short-circuit waveguides of one of the mirrors. %8 2018-07-23
