Yet despite the great number of publications on the topic, the effect of earth parameters upon the dipole coupling and efficiency of antenna arrays still remains poorly studied. The present paper suggests a rigorous method for analyzing the dipole coupling and radiation efficiency in the array placed near the air-to-ground interface.
