The principal features of the jet effect on the aerodynamic characteristics of the model in takeoff, landing, and cruising configurations are considered. The possibilities of active control of the aircraft aerodynamic characteristics using an adaptive element of high-lift devices in the form of a deflected wing trailing edge are shown. A comparative estimation of the aerodynamic characteristics of the MSTOL with two and four engines is carried out. %8 2019-05-28
