An approach for modelling steam condensation on the walls of a large enclosure using a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code is described. The approach consists in modelling steam condensation as a sink of mass and energy by implementing an integral correlation into the CFD code. The proposed approach is demonstrated on the code CFX and validated using experimental data from the TOSQAN experimental facility, located in Saclay (France).
