Résumé

The main task in developing mathematical models of the processes under consideration is to describe the regularities of simultaneous proceeding of heat transfer, reducing iron oxides and carbon oxidation in conditions of lump material bed with an allowance for mutual influence of the above processes. The regularities of the latter have been studied experimentally. As a result a common mathematical description method in the form of a system of differential equations with boundary conditions depending on the peculiarities of particular techniques and units has been developed.
The method developed is considered by means of two models: the model of blast furnace process and the model of pellet metallization in the freeboard furnace.
