Résumé

The general scope of the present work is to quantify the characteristics of wall-normal and spanwise Reynolds stresses, which might be different for confined and semi-confined flows. Especially the peak position of wall-normal stress and a shoulder never described in detail before are investigated. It is found that the positions of the v-peak and the w-shoulder are different. However, the upper end of the logarithmic region seems to be closely related position of the v-peak. The w-shoulder occurs always above the v-peak and covers a significantly large portion of the entire wall-layer.
