National Natural Park
The main regularities of the structural and functional organization of phytoplankton and phytomicroepiphyton of various rivers of the "Pripyat − Stokhod" National Natural Park have been revealed. It has been found that the
distribution of the algae flora is not uniform, which is conditioned by a wide variety of biotopes. The ecological state of the rivers of the park was assessed in
terms of the algae flora.

zoogeography
The publication is dealt with the study of biology of Holopedium gibberum belonging to plankton Crustacea and widely distributed in water bodies of the boreal zone. It has been found that near the northern and southern
borders of the area of its distribution H. gibberum is characterized by shorter life cycle, which is conditioned by temperature regime. The vertical distribution of its population in a water body is determined by a depth of the thermocline, whereas its horizontal distribution by the degree of similarity of the conditions of its occurrence in various parts of the water body and in the pelagic zone.

The species composition, complex of dominants, quantitative
characteristics, and seasonal changes in zooplankton community of the Rybinsk Reservoir were studied in June − October 2009. During the studied period, the
total numbers of zooplankton accounted for 125.4 thousand specimens/m3, whereas its biomass - 0.8 g/m3. Zooplankton was characterized by one peak of its numbers and by three peaks of its biomass. Rotifera prevailed in terms of their numbers, whereas Crustacea - in terms of their biomass.

The content of phenols and quinones was studied both in the phytomass and in the water in the thickets of higher aquatic plants of various ecological groups.
It has been found that pH influences the content of exogenous metabolites.

Neogobius melanostomus
Dependence between the content of the micronuclei inclusions in the mature erythrocytes of the round goby (Neogobius melanostomus Pallas) and intensity
of erythropoietic processes in the blood-forming tissue was studied. It was shown that the proliferative activity of the erythroid blastema of the blood-forming tissue in this species increased with the organism approach to spawning, that is transition from the III-IV to V and VI-II stages of the gonad maturity. This was confirmed by increase of the of immature erythroid forms' content (basophilic and polychromatophilic normoblasts) in the fish blood. Simultaneously content of the mature red blood cells with micronuclei inclusions increased. Pronounced correlation between these processes was determined (R2 = 0.995), indicating that high proliferative activity of tissues may result in
increase of the percentage of the DNA damages, that is formation of the micronuclei in the cells. Consequently, application of the micronuclear test to estimate the degree of genotoxicity of the marine environment in practice requires account of the natural state of the organism.

Morpho-physiological and cytogenetic modifications in Chironomus riparius under the effect of copper ions were studied. It was stated that growth of the toxicant concentration leads to decrease of the survival and larvae's mass, delay of emergence, morphological deformations of the mouth apparatus and structural-functional changes in the polytene chromosomes of the salivary glands. These modifications were shown to serve as sensitive criterion of the sublethal pollution by the copper ions. under the effect of copper ions were studied. It was stated that growth of the toxicant concentration leads to decrease of the survival and larvae

Chlorella vulgaris
The article deals with intensity of the lipids synthesis and their qualitative composition in different cell structures of Chlorella vulgaris Beijer. under the
impact of Zn2+, Pb2+ and diesel fuel. Content of pigments (chlorophylls a and b, phaeopigments) increased under the impact of Zn2+, Pb2+, and decreased under the impact of diesel fuel. Content of lipids and their different classes in the cytoplasm fraction and chloroplasts varied dependently on the toxicant's nature.
Inclusion of 14C-acetate into different classes of lipids indicated replacement of the lipids synthesis from the chloroplasts to the cytoplasm structures. Number of chloroplasts increased, whereas their dimensions significantly decreased, especially under the impact of Zn2+, and to a less extent under the impact of diesel fuel.
