Energy and directivity characteristics of an antenna array incorporating single and double transverse slots cut through in the wide wall of a rectangular waveguide partially field with a dielectric coat have been studied. Both in the case of single transverse slots and double ones, the dielectric layer is parallel to the waveguides wide walls. A possibility is shown for constructing the antenna array that incorporates double slots and whose pattern has no diffraction lobes and offers a high radiation coefficient over a wide frequency range.

Characteristics of the sparse antenna array with the binominal amplitude distribution is considered. It is shown that the sparse antenna arrays with the low number of radiators (no more than 8) have a moderate superdirectivity. The binominal amplitude field distribution allows the elimination of the near side lobes.

Formats of color images transmitted in the digital air terrestrial television broadcast system DVB-T are analyzed. Directions for further improving scientific methods of digital color image processing along the line of their transmission from the source to the receiver so as to ensure a perceptually precise correspondence between image colors reproduced by TV receivers and original image colors are identified. A method of Munsell renotation system extrapolation in the color space CIE Yxy 1931 up to the real color region, which takes into account the effect of the light intensity value on the color space position of constant color hue lines, as well as algorithms for performing operations on mapping the color gamut of the original image as the color gamut of a digital television, using data of a search table generated on the basis of an extrapolated Munsell renotation system, are described.

Components of a total jitter are classified and briefly characterized. A mathematical model for determining the autocorrelation function and spectral power density of bounded uncorrelated jitter is developed. Values of these characteristics allow a more accurate separation of jitter into components, which may be required for finding the causes of failures and evaluating the reliability of the studied system.
