ABSTRACT

The exact absorbing conditions method (the EAC method) is applied for modelling and analysis of the process of energy storage in the compact open resonator excited from the feeding waveguide via the evanescent diaphragm and supplied with a distributed switch − the finite grating of quartz gas discharge tubes. The aspects pertaining to controlling the spectrum sparseness of such a resonator are considered rather rigorously for the first time. The results of computing experiments prove the possibility of using similar objects for creation of efficiently operating microwave processors.
