RADIATION OF COMPLEX ELECTRIC AND MAGNETIC DIPOLES IN THE PRESENCE OF A PERFECTLY CONDUCTING DISK
ABSTRACT
The paper presents an efficient hybrid numerical-analytical scheme for solving the problem of diffraction of the electromagnetic field from specified sources by an infinitely thin perfectly conducting disk. The technique is based on the method of analytical regularization which is applied to determining solutions of coupled paired equations appearing in the course of solving the problem under consideration. The complex electric and magnetic dipoles located on the disk axis and complex Huygens elements are used in the capacity of the specified sources. The directional pattern and the radiation power for the sources under consideration in the presence of the perfectly conducting disk are analyzed in dependence on the disk radius and separation from the source.
