Electrodynamics of Waveguide Junctions with Anisotropic Filling

ABSTRACT

In this work electrodynamics model of waveguide junctions calculation with anisotropic filling have been developed. Wave equation for longitudinal components of hybrid electromagnetic field and set of linear algebraic equations (SLAE) was received. We found conditions due to which the SLAE for HEmnp-modes (indexes indicate a number of variations along x, y, z accordingly) spliting on to independent systems, corresponding to Hmno- and Eklo-modes. According to created problem, algorithm, and software a numerical analysis for these modes was carrying-out, that is very important for practice. The recommendations about waveguide junctions using for measurement of dielectric permittivity tensor components of anisotropic crystals were have been proposed.
