Sourcewise Representation of a Field Spectrum for a Point Charge, Moving at a Constant Velocity in the Circular Waveguide
ABSTRACT
The spectral density of an electric and magnetic field strength for a point electric charge, moving at a constant velocity in the longitudinal direction through the circular waveguide is determined. The field is obtained as a sum of the singularity part, corresponding to the nonuniform plane wave of a point charge in the infinite space, and the regular part, corresponding to the field reflected from the waveguide walls. The field is also obtained in the form of TH wave superposition in the circular waveguide. The problem of point charge field formation in the circular waveguide is solved as a problem of point charge nonuniform plane wave diffraction at circular waveguide walls.
